ARTISTIC INTERVENTION OF THE CLUB FOR UNESCO OF PIRAEUS AND ISLANDS IN NEW YORK GROUP EXHIBITION OF THE MEMBER ARTISTS AT THE NEW YORK ART CONNECTION GALLERY

The first artist ... "venturing" of the Club for UNESCO of Piraeus and Islands in New York, had huge success with the big group exhibition with the members of the Club, held a few days ago in the Gallery of Khurshid Alam Saleem "The New York Art Connection ".
Hundreds of visitors from the world Metropolis, New York, had the opportunity to admire with free entrance the artworks of 70 member Artists 7of the Club for UNESCO of Piraeus and Islands. The exhibition had open theme giving the aura of a colorful and diverse Art feast bringing the other face of Greece in direct contact with the demanding audience of the largest city of the United States.
The opening of the Exhibition exceeded all expectations as hundreds of visitors admired the works of members of the Club for UNESCO of Piraeus and Islands and also did throughout the duration of operation for 10 days. Among them dozens of Greek people and Greek Diaspora Associations representatives and other Organizations. The owner of the Gallery "The New York Art Connection" and internationally renowned Artist Mr. Khurshid Alam Saleem,  welcomed with the best impressions the Greek mission to the wonderful art space that has hosted thousands of art works of Artists from around the world.
The President of the Club for UNESCO of Piraeus and Islands and Vice President of the World Federation of UNESCO Clubs, Centres and Associations  (WFUCA) for Europe and North America, Mr. Ioannis Maronitis with the presence of the Artist and member of the Club Mr. Vasilios Moschou wgo also edited the exhibition, said "This is the biggest art exhibition that we have organized since the Club was founded. With the invaluable help of our honorary member Mr. Khurshid Alam Saleem, it was given the opportunity in 70 Artists from Greece to display their creations in the largest cultural center of the planet." The presentation of the opening had been presented by the Theatre Director of the Club for UNESCO of Piraeus and Islands, Author and Actor Mrs. Ankelika Sandora.
Mr. Maronitis awarded Mr. Saleem with the special honorary board of the Club for UNESCO of Piraeus and Islands for his great contribution in Culture thanking him on behalf of the Executive Board and the members of the Club for that very significant cooperation.
The Art Exhibition received great interest οf the American television network "TBN 24", where Mr. Maronitis, Mr. Moschou and Mrs. Sandora were interviewed which was broadcast to 115 even television networks around the world!
